Sophie’s Orchard & Ciderworks is a welcoming destination where families can explore, learn, and make lasting memories together. One of our most exciting highlights is a giant 6,000-gallon wooden oak barrel, over 125 years old. This incredible piece of history once belonged to the historic Schuster Wine Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. We are proud to be the caretakers of the last nine remaining barrels from this legendary winery. Kids and adults alike love seeing the sheer size of the barrel and learning how cider and wine were made generations ago. It’s a hands-on way to discover Cleveland’s agricultural and winemaking history, all while enjoying the beauty of the orchard. Come walk among the trees, take photos, ask questions, and experience a place where history, nature, and family time come together 🍏🌳
